Ahmedabad: In yet another alleged case of love jihad in the Odhav area, a Muslim youth allegedly posed as a Hindu to trap and rape a Hindu female.

Mohsin Pathan, the accused, created a fake Aadhaar card in the name of “Mohit Patel” to lure the woman, who is a widow. The two met while the woman was traveling on an AMTS bus. Pathan established a relationship with the woman on the pretext of marriage, took her to a hotel, and raped her. Upon finding out his true identity, the woman ended the relationship and filed a complaint at the Odhav police station.

Odhav police have arrested Mohsin Pathan, who was working as an AMTS driver on a contract basis, and are conducting further investigation. DeshGujarat
