Where Did It Rain in Gujarat Today? Here Are the Figures

Gandhinagar: Several parts of Gujarat recorded unseasonal rainfall between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm on April 7, 2026, with talukas in North and Central Gujarat receiving light to moderate showers, according to data released by the State Emergency Operation Center in Gandhinagar.
Sathamba in Arvalli district recorded the highest rainfall at 30 mm (1.18 inches), followed by Mansa in Gandhinagar district with 26 mm (1.02 inches). Himatnagar in Sabarkantha received 23 mm (0.91 inches), while Vijapur (Mehsana) and Talod (Sabarkantha) recorded 18 mm each. In Bhavnagar district, Bhavnagar taluka recorded 16 mm of rainfall, while Fatepura in Dahod received 13 mm. Several talukas in Arvalli, including Modasa and Bayad, also recorded 13 mm of rainfall. These were the places where over half an inch of rain was recorded.
Other areas witnessing notable rainfall include Vadali (10 mm), Shehera (9 mm), and Vijaynagar and Prantij (8 mm each) in Sabarkantha and Panchmahal districts.
Parts of Mehsana district, including Visnagar (7 mm), Unjha, Vadnagar, and Becharaji (6 mm each), also received light showers. Umreth in Anand district recorded 7 mm of rainfall.
Light rainfall activity was also reported from multiple talukas across Anand, Patan, Mahisagar, Kheda, and Bharuch districts, with precipitation ranging between 1 mm and 5 mm.
According to officials, the rainfall was concentrated mainly during the afternoon hours (2:00 pm to 6:00 pm), while most regions remained dry earlier in the day.
