Gujarat Farmers Asked to Register Under AgriStack to Get Next PM-Kisan Instalment

Rajkot: The Government of India has made Farmer Registry mandatory under the AgriStack project, with officials warning that farmers who fail to complete the registration will not receive the next instalment of the PM-Kisan scheme.

Under the initiative, each farmer will be assigned a unique 12-digit Farmer ID, similar to an Aadhaar number. The move aims to ensure transparent and direct delivery of government scheme benefits to farmers.

Authorities have urged beneficiaries to complete the registration process within the stipulated time to avoid disruption in future financial assistance. Farmers are required to submit documents such as an Aadhaar card, a mobile number linked to Aadhaar, and land records, including 7/12 and 8-A extracts.

For registration, farmers can approach their village-level VCE/VLE operators or visit nearby Jan Seva Kendras. Alternatively, they can complete the process online through the official portal (gjfr.agristack.gov.in) or by downloading the “Farmer Registry” mobile application from the Play Store.

Officials have specifically appealed to all remaining farmers in Rajkot district to complete their registration at the earliest. DeshGujarat
