Amreli District to get stoppage of Vande Bharat Express Train

Ahmedabad: Vande Bharat Express train on Ahmedabad to Veraval will stop at Chital in Amreli district.
According to a local Lok Sabha member Bharat Sutariya who represents Amreli, he had made representation before the Railway Minister for giving a stoppage in Amreli district.
The permanent stoppage at Chital will be effective from August 17 when the train is going to start on this route.
Starting August 17, 2026, the Sabarmati–Veraval Vande Bharat Express (26901/26902) shifts from its old Rajkot-Wankaner line to run via the Gandhigram–Botad route. This change adds key stops like Dholka and Botad, letting pilgrims complete a single-day round trip to Somnath. DeshGujarat
