The marriage of star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja with Rivaba was solemnized in a local hotel here today though a controversy was also created as during the marriage procession an unknown enthusiastic participant in Barat fired gunshots in air a few feet away from the groom.

The marriage procession was first taken out in to the Audi car gifted to Jadeja by his father-in-law. Later wearing a yellowish sherwani and traditional turban he rode a horse for the tradition of Varghoda.

It was during this ritual that some one from the procession fired at least six rounds in the air quite close to horse-riding Jadeja. The video footage of the incident went viral in the social media and tv channels prompting police to start an inquiry of the incident. Rural SP Antrip Sood said that the matter was being investigated and action will be taken against the one who did the unlawful act.

The marriage was later solemnized in Season Hotel in Kalavad road of the city. Jadeja was engaged to Rivaba in February this year.

The couple earlier danced during the Sangeet ceremony last evening during which Jadeja also displayed great skill of sword acrobat.
