Gandhinagar: In a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today, the state government has OKayed some important proposals, said Deputy Cheif Minister Nitin Patel today while speaking to reporters outside the secretariat building in capital Gandhinagar

‘Formation of Aayog for unreserved segments of society was proposed in cabinet meeting and the proposal was approved. Patidar community and other unreserved segments of society will be availed low interest loan for education, foreign education, employment, agricultural activities and animal husbandry by the government. They will be also availed subsidy,’ Patel said.

‘The cabinet also decided to appoint a retired High Court Judge to probe into complains regarding Patidar agitation. Such complains will be probed by retired Judge and government will do procedure in accordance to a probe report,’ he added.

Patel further said, ‘Minister of State for Home Pradipsinh jadeja in today’s cabinet meeting moved proposal regarding cases pertaining to Patidar quota agitation. The matter was discussed and it was decided that the Home department and Law department will hold consultation regarding the cases under purview of Gujarat government and such cases will be withdrawn subsequently. The Cabinet has instructed Home and Law department secretaries to start working in this direction as early as possible.’
