Vajpayee on life supporting system, condition worsens and critical, Modi reaches AIIMS

New Delhi: Former Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee is critical. He has been kept on life support system.
In a statement, the All India Institute of Medical Science today evening said: Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been admitted for the last 9 weeks at AIIMS, New Delhi. Unfortunately, his condition has worsened over the last 24 hours. His condition is critical and he is on life support system.
It’s worth noting that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today evening paid visit to AIIMS to inquire about Shri Vajpayee’s health. This was Modi’s second visit to AIIMS for this reason in a week. Ahead of Shri Modi’s visit, union textile minister Smriti Irani also visited AIIMS.
