Amid speculations about imposition of section 144 and issuance of circular regarding cancellation of leaves of police personnel in the wake of proposed fast of Congress backed PAAS leader Hardik Patel, MoS Home of Gujarat Pradipsinh Jadeja today said that it has nothing to do with it.

Talking to newsmen Jadeja said that now the season of festivals was around the corner and it was a routine procedure on the part of the state police head ie DGP to issue such circulars for the security and maintenance of law and order situation during religious events. It should not be attributed to any other thing or event.

To a query he however said that adequate arrangement has been made for maintenance of peace, safety and security in Gujarat in any situation.

Meanwhile additional police forces have been deployed in areas where in the past hooligans of PAAS have tried to disturb the peace during such events.
