Gujarat govt announces yet another edition of Karuna Abhiyan to save birds during Uttarayan

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government today announced yet another edition of Karuna Abhiyan to save birds during, before and after the Kite flying festival – Uttarayan – Makar Sankranti (January 14) by roping in entire strength of Forest department staff across the State. Birds injured by kite strings will be rescued by forest department staff and network of volunteers.
