Chief Minister Rupani on one-day visit to scarcity-hit Kutch on Friday

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will be on one-day visit to scarcity-hit Kutch district to interact with rural villagers, district and taluka level officials and review the situation of water, fodder and employment.
The Chief Minister will reach Narayan Sarovar in Lakhpat taluka at 11.30 am and hold meeting with local villagers. He will hold meeting with officials of Lakhpat taluka and offer guidance on scarcity-relief works.
The chief Minister will at 2.00 pm will visit Gorevali water works at Dhordo and hold meeting with local villagers. He will also hold a meeting with district level government officials at Dhordo.
According to a government note, 2.85 lakh cattle have been taken care off across 481 cattle camps in Kutch. 3.90 cattle are covered across 225 fodder depots benefiting 1.17 lakh card holders.
Kutch is supplied 10 crore litre additional water compared to previous year. Tappar dam has been filled with 1200 MCFT water through Kutch branch canal as in March 2019.
