Gujarat’s Godhra to have India’s second Lotus temple

Guajrat’s Ghodhra will have second lotus temple of India. The existing lotus temple is in Delhi, well known as Bahai temple.
Godhra’s proposed Pusthidham Mandir will be constructed in lotus temple shape. Ground breaking ceremony of this proposed structure will be held on 19 August at Godhra’s Bamroli road by Vaishnav sect Acharya Shri Dwarkeshlalji Maharaj.
Addressing a press conference in Vadodara Shri Dwarkeshlalji said Godhra is actually Gau-dhara, meaning a land of cows. He said the proposed Pushtidham will come up over 3.5 lakh square ft area by Jayantilal Chand Charitable Trust. A temple shaped two-storey structure will stand amid newly developed lake. Shrinathji’s murthy will be installed on the ground floor. Shri Kalyanray Prabhu will be there in Shrinathji’s lap.
Moreover there will be a garden, library, guest house, exhibition showcasing Pushtimarg’s 535 years history, Panchamahal district’s history and culture.
