Gujarat CM to receive US President and Indian Prime Minister at Road Show: State govt.

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today described United States of America President Donald Trump beginning his visit to India from Gujarat establishes the importance of Gujarat in the global context and is a matter of pride for 6.50-crore Gujaratis.
A statement circulated by the Gujarat government said: Rupani joins the entire state to accord a grand welcome the world’s two strong leaders, Mr. Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Ahmedabad airport – an historic event and a rare honour for the Gujarat Government to host the event. The Road Show, planned all the way from the airport to the world’s largest cricket stadium at Motera, vindicates the friendship between the two. Representatives of different states and their cultural troupes will accord grand reception to the very special guests along the road.
He said that Mr. Trump’s reception at the Motera stadium by lakhs of people from all over Gujarat will be the largest accorded to him anywhere else so far.
Rupani hoped Mr. Trump’s visit to India will pave the way for making a super power under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
