Palitana: Major fire has been reported in the hilly areas of Palitana. It started in the afternoon from the middle of Kanjda and Adpur hills and further spread to Bhadva hill by late in the evening. More than 70 jawans of forest department have joined the operation, however the scale of fire is so massive and in so difficult area that the teams can hardly do anything much.
