Fatehgunj Police have registered crime under Section-4(A) of Gujarat Freedom of Religion (Amendment) Act 2021 ( known as Anti-love jihad law ) and nabbed the three accused namely Mohib Pathan (Husband), Mohsinkhan Pathan (Brother-in-law) and Imtiazakhan (Father-in-law).
The victim woman informed the police that she had registered-marriage with the accused Mohib Pathan after he permitted her to remain Hindu after the marriage. Though he forced her to adopt Islam, changed her name and threw-away photographs of Hindu Gods and Goddesses which she had brought with her after getting married.
