Over 2 crore jabbed with first dose against covid in Gujarat: Govt

Gandhinagar: The number of people vaccinated with the first-dose of Covid-19 vaccine in Gujarat has reached to 2 crores,said the State government today. Total 2 crores and 61 thousand people or 41 % are jabbed with first-dose out of 4 crores 93 lakh 20 thousand people eligible for the vaccination.
On 30th June, 2 lakh 84 thousand people were vaccinated in the state. Moreover, 56 lakh 16 thousand 736 people are vaccinated with the second dose also. Out of the 2 crore 61 thousand 255 people vaccinated with first dose till 30th June, the number of healthcare and frontline workers is 19,63,058, the number of people above 45 years of age is 1,08,29,452 and the number of people from the age-group of 18 to 44 years is 72,68,475.
