Tourists rush at Statue of Unity, Science City, Girnar Ropeway, Shivrajpur Beach

Gandhinaar: The tourist attractions across the state such as Statue of Unity, Science City, Girnar Ropeway and Shivrajpur Beach witnessed huge number of visitors on the holidays of Janmashtami during 28th to 30th August (Saturday-Sunday-Janmashtami holiday).
The number of visitors at Statue of Unity in Kevadia was 23,907 on 28th August, 40,914 on 30th August, 27,343 on 30th August. Thus, a total 92,164 visitors visited Statue of Unity during the three-days. The children nutrition park, viewing gallery, glow garden, jungle safari, ekta nursery, cactus and butterfly garden, pet zone, boating, electric cycling and river rafting at Kevadiya also attracted many tourists.
Ahmedabad Science City was visited by total 10,996 visitors during 28th to 30th August. The income generated at the Science City from the tickets sales for these 3 days is Rs 35,56,910. Total 10,236 people visited aquatic gallery, 2,806 visited robotic gallery and 1,403 visited aquatic 5D theatre at the Science City during the three days.
The Girnar Ropeway at Junagadh attracted a total 21,123 visitors during the three days. The number of visitors at Girnar Ropeway was 4,861 on 28th August, 7,459 on 29th August and 8,503 on 30th August. Shivrajpur beach in Dwarka attracted total 21,364 visitors during the 3 days. It witnessed 3,100 visitors on 28th August, 8,764 visitors on 29th August and 9,500 visitors on 30th August.
