Surat: A 13-year old boy left his home after using money from his mother’s bank account to play a game on the mobile phone.

The 13-year old boy Vaibhav, living in Maninagar at Terenam road in Pandesara area left his home after telling his younger brother that he had used the money from the bank account for the game and everyone at home was suffering due to him. Pandesara police have started an investigation after filing a complaint of kidnapping.

The boy lives with his father Pramodkumar Narendrabahadur Sing (age-35, working in a dying mill in Pandesara GIDC), mother Anjaliben and younger brother Nirbhay (age 8). The family had found Rs 5 thousand of savings missing from the home 20 days ago. After the strict inquiry of both kids by their parents, the elder son Vaibhav had confessed that he had paid that money for playing a game named Free Fire in the mobile phone given by his mother for online studies. The father Pramodkumar had inquired to a shopkeeper named Rahul after learning that the boy had paid the money in a shop named Gurukupa Cutlery. The shopkeeper had informed him that the boy visited the shop to play the game on the mobile phone and paid the money for playing the game. The father had asked the shopkeeper not to allow the boy to play the game if he came again. Then, the salary amount of Rs 5853 was deposited in the bank account of the boy’s mother on 1st January. They found that the balance in the bank account was only Rs 5933 and the already existing amount of Rs 6 thousand was missing from it. Then, they learnt after inquiring in the bank that various amounts were paid from the account through Phone Pe.

Later, the mother found that the elder son Vaibhav had left the home after telling his younger brother that he had used that money for playing the game and he wanted to leave home as everyone was suffering due to him. DeshGujarat
