Congress trying to trigger caste-community wise discontent and agitations in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Ahead of the general elections of State assembly that are likely to be held in the month of December this year in Gujarat, opposition Congress party has started playing the tricks of social divisions and caste & community linked discontent and agitations.

A meeting of the representatives of the Koli community members linked to Congress party was organised in a hotel in Rajkot. The demands of 20 percent reservation and allotment of Rs 1 thousand crore fund to Koli Thakor Vikas Nigam were raised in the meeting. The demand for political representation equivalent to the population of Koli Thakor communities was also raised.

In another development, a meeting of over 100 representatives of PAAS with Khodaldham chairman Naresh Patel took place in Khodaldham. In another development, former state home minister Vipul Chaudari has formed Arbuda Sena. He held a meeting of the Chaudhari community in Gunja village near Mehsana in which he attacked rival Chaudhary community leader of BJP in offending language over Dudhsagar dairy affairs.

The congress party has planned a yatra and sammelan of tribals in tribal areas from Ambaji to Dahod. The party is also leading an agitation against Par-Tapi-Narmada river linking project by mobilizing tribals in Southern Gujarat.

Congress party leader Hardik Patel in joined hands with Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leaders has threatened an agitation from March 28th demanding withdrawal of cases against Patidar agitators that were filed in connection with violent agitation over quota in year 2015-2016. DeshGujarat
