Girnar Rope-way Project earns Rs 56 crore revenue in 20 months

Junagadh: The Girnar rope way project has proved to be a blessing for tourists since it was launched in October 2020. Since the launch a whopping 11 lakh people have used the facility, which has also generated Rs 56 crores in revenue.
Corona cases have fallen in the last three months and it has led to an increase in the number of tourists in Girnar. Against 59,188 tourists who used the facility in February 2022, the figure stands at 77,796 for March 2022. Revenue also has increased from Rs 3.1 crore in February to Rs 4.03 crore in March, a growth of over Rs 1 crore. The rope-way makes an average 551 trips daily. Authorities are planning to also play music in the rope-way cabin to make it more thrilling for the tourists. DeshGujarat
