Banana farmers of Narmada dist make merry as prices remain strong despite bumper harvest
June 04, 2022
Narmada: The banana crop is grown in large quantities in the Narmada district. This is particularly the case in Nandod Taluka. The harvest this time has been good.
Despite Summers being usually known for Mangos, Banana farmers are getting a bumper Rs 300 for 20 kgs.
A bumper harvest of bananas has also buoyed the chips business. The presence of chip-making factories between Rajpipla and Poicha is also fuelling the demand for bananas. DeshGujarat.
