Crackdown on industrial diversion of subsidize neem coated urea

Gandhinagar:The deputy agricultural director and team of agricultural officers of Patan filed an FIR at Chanasma police station against 3 persons after seizing 184 bags of subsidized neem-coated urea kept for illegal selling for industrial purpose in Chanasma GIDC.
The deputy agricultural director and team of agricultural officers of Patan raided on 1st July 2022, considering the information about illegal selling of subsidized neem coated urea by packing it into the bags of technical grade urea for industrial purpose in Chanasma GIDC in Patan district. During the raid, they seized 168 bags (50 kg each) of subsidized neem coated urea packed after stitching in technical grade urea for industrial purpose bags, 16 bags of various companies containing a quantity of around 50 kg, sewing machine for packing, and related items.
An FIR has been filed against Ashokbhai Virambhai Chaudhari, Kanjibhai Dazabhai Chaudhari and Narendrabhai Rajubhai Solanki on 1st July 2022 at Chanasma police station. A sample of suspected need coated urea from the seized stock is sent to the laboratory for analysis. DeshGujarat
