Senior Gujarat Congress leaders Naresh Raval and Raju Parmar may join BJP

Gandhinagar: Senior congress leader and former home minister Naresh Raval and former Rajya Sabha MP Raju Parmar are likely to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on 17th August. Raval is top Brahmin face of Gujarat Congress. His late father was also a Congress leader. Raval has been the leader of opposition also in the past in the State assembly. Rajubhai Parmar is leading Dalit face of Gujarat Congress. He had been Rajya Sabha member in the past. He had led the National Commission for Schedule Caste.
Total 15 congress MLAs have joined ruling BJP after 2017. The 15 MLAs are Kunvarji Bavaliya- Jasadn, JV Kakadiya -Dhari, Jawahar Chavda- Manavadar, Mangal Gavit -Dang, Jitu Chaudhari – Kaprada, Parsottam Sabariya – Dhrangadhra, Alpesh Thakor -Radhanpur, Pravin Maru -Gadhada, Brijesh Merja -Morbi, Soma Patel- Limbdi, Ashaben Patel-Unjha, Pradhyumnsinh Jadeja- Abdasa, Akshay Patel- Karjan, Ashwin Kotwal- Khedbrahma, Dhavalsinh Zala- Bayad Total 60 senior congress leaders in Gujarat have joined BJP after 2012.
Gujarat is going to witness the regular election of State assembly in December this year. DeshGujarat
