Kayda ma rehsho to faydama rehsho : MoS Harsh Sanghavi
October 05, 2022
Gandhinagar: Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi today while replying the question regarding the incident of attack on Garba celebration at Undhel village of Kheda told media persons – ‘Gujarat State is known as the safest state when it comes to Law & Order. We have seen that all communities celebrate the festivals of one another jointly. However some people try to obstruct religious festivals of others. Mostly in Gujarat we have seen that Ganpati visarjan, Navratri, Eid or Tajiya – all festivals are celebrated together. However we saw the visuals of Kheda. Navratri was being celebrated peacefully, the devotees were playing Garba, and at such times not some community but the anti-social people tried to disturb peace. I believe that those who will follow Kayda will be in fayda (Kayda ma rehsho to j fayda ma rehsho).
Regarding the ongoing demolition in Bet Dwarka island, Sanghavi said – Bet Dwarka is connected to the coastal border. It is located 57 nautical miles from Karachi. It is the first island linked to the coastal border where people live in such a huge number. There was illegal encroachment there. It is a routine procedure of the government to remove illegal houses and religious constructions on government land. Such buildings are used for illegal activities, that cannot be allowed. A big drug racket was going on in a house in Salaya. The accused had a house in Bet Dwarka on government land. It was necessary to bulldoze it. If on such islands that are linked to the coastal border, there are constructions that are built with a specific motive and sheltering illegal activities then it should be probed and same is going on. At present this procedure is a routine procedure that take place across all cities in connection with illegal activities and encroachment over government land.
