Petlad MLA Niranjanbhai quits Congress
November 17, 2022
Anand: Petlad Congress MLA Niranjan Patel has resigned from the Congress party. He made this announcement through a letter. Upset by the denial of the ticket by the party, Patel has also announced his resignation from the State assembly.
Congress Party has given the ticket to Dr Prakash Parmar from this seat after dropping Patel. Patel is a six-time MLA. This change of candidates is seen as a gamble by congress as Petlad is Congress party’s safest seat.
