PM Narendra Modi to visit Gujarat on May 12

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 29th convention of All India Primary Teachers’ Federation (Akhil Bhartiya Prathmik Shikshak Sangh) in Gandhinagar on May 12, Friday, the Gujarat government announced on Thursday.

The All India Primary Teachers’ Federation (AIPTF) and the Gujarat State Primary Teachers Federation are organising this two day conference. Over 1 lakh teachers are expected to remain present in it. The subject of the conference is ‘Teachers: At the centre of change in education’, Gujarat Health Minister and state government spokesperson Rushikesh Patel said in Gandhinagar.

“PM Modi will inaugurate this 29th biennial conference on May 12. Apart from this event, the PM would also take part in some other programmes wherein he would either inaugurate or lay the foundation stones for projects,” said Patel.

Foundation stone laying and inauguration of development projects worth ₹1400 crore in Amdavad

Hitesh Barot, Chairman, standing committee of Amdavad Municipal Corporation informed that PM Modi will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate development projects worth ₹1400 Crore in the city.

The projects include three bridges in Vadaj, Satadhar, and Naroda areas, a STF plant in Bapunagar worth ₹78 crore, and housing projects worth ₹68 crore. DeshGujarat
