Vadodara: A crane collapse on an under-construction bridge near Kambola in Karjan today resulted in workers being buried under the debris, leading to one fatality. The bridge construction is being undertaken by L&T company as part of the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor Project (Bullet Train). According to the latest information, eight people sustained injuries, and one died after getting trapped under the debris. The rescue operation is being carried out by the Karjan Fire Brigade.
