Gujarat cadre IAS Srinivas appointed Secretary of Minority Affairs in Centre

New Delhi: Katikithala Srinivas, an IAS officer from the Gujarat cadre who currently serves as the director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), has been transferred and appointed as the secretary for the Ministry of Minority Affairs within the Government of India.
Srinivas has been on central deputation since May 2017. During his time in the state administration, he held the post of Principal Secretary in the revenue and general administration department. He also held significant roles in water resources, urban development, industries, and mines. He played a pivotal role in implementing revenue reforms within the state and overseeing important projects such as the Statue of Unity.
While on central deputation, Srinivas has also been involved in personnel training, appointments, and general administration roles within the Union government. DeshGujarat
