Southwest Monsoon 2023 withdraws from parts of Gujarat

Gandhinagar: The Southwest Monsoon 2023 has officially withdrawn from certain parts of Gujarat today, including Kutch, North Saurashtra, and the northern regions of the state.
According to the latest bulletin from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), “Today, the Southwest Monsoon further receded from Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, and West Madhya Pradesh. It also withdrew from the remaining regions of Rajasthan and certain parts of Gujarat.”
“The current withdrawal line of the Southwest Monsoon extends through several locations, including Gulmarg, Dharamshala, Mukteshwar, Pilibhit, Orai, Ashoknagar, Indore, Baroda, and Porbandar.”
The IMD also mentioned that favorable conditions are developing for the continued withdrawal of the Southwest Monsoon from the remaining areas, including Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state, and some parts of East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra over the next 2-3 days.
The bulletin also shows a forecast of dry weather for the entire state of Gujarat from October 3rd to October 10th. DeshGujarat
