Ahmedabad: Pakistani cricket team arrived here to play the one-day international match against India at Narendra Modi stadium in Motera. The team arrived by Vistara airlines flight in the afternoon and boarded a bus to reach Hyatt Regency hotel on Ashram Road in Western part of the city.

The roads were cleared and the bus was taken to the hotel from the airport with a full police convoy. The hotel is fully reserved for the Pakistani team only and several restrictions are in place for their security.

The Pakistani cricket team was welcomed at the hotel with traditional dances and showers of yellow balloons from the top. The team members were welcomed to the hotel with khadi shawl. The girls danced in traditional attire and dhol were also played to welcome the Pakistani team at the hotel.

The team will join the net practice at Narendra Modi stadium at Motera ahead of the match which is scheduled to be played in this world’s largest cricket stadium on October 14. DeshGujarat

Earlier Pakistani team’s capital had visited the city of Ahmedabad in the first week of this month for the Captain’s Day event. He had come via a special plane and stayed at ITC hotel Narmada.
