Ahmedabad: Dr. Hasmukh Patel, ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator from the Amraiwadi assembly seat was hospitalized on Saturday morning due to a seizure attack at his residence in Harbholanath society.

The MLA was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit(ICU) of Narayani Hospital in Rakhial.

The ruling party is holding assembly seat-wise Gujarati New Year get-together functions these days. A function of Amraiwadi seat was held at Mangaltirth party plot near Rabari colony char rasta where party workers and leaders prayed for fast and smooth recovery of ailing MLA.
