Dwarka: As many as 37,000 women from Ahir community will join Maha Raas in pilgrim town Dwarka during 23-24 December as per the note released by Akhil Bharatiya Ahirani Maharas Sanghathan. It has been organized in memory of Raas by Usha, the daughter of Banasur and daughter in law of Shri Krishna.

Akhil Bharatiya Yadav Samaj and Ahirani Mahila Mandal are also organizing bodies of this event which is going to be held at a large campus of ACC Cement company that has been named as Nanddham campus.

According to organizers, as many as 37,000 Ahir women from all over the world and mainly from Saurashtra region have registered for their participation in this event. Around one and half lakh Ahir Yadav community people will remain present in the function.

All 37,000 participants will be given Gita book as gift. Cleaning of the ground, erection of tent, arrangements for parking, lodging and boarding of the guests etc preparations are ongoing. DeshGujarat
