Tejaswini Vidhan Sabha in Gujarat to mark National Girl Child Day

Gandhinagar: To make National Girl Child Day 2024 memorable for the girls of Gujarat and to increase women’s participation and awareness about democratic values, ‘Tejaswini Vidhan Sabha’ is being held at Gujarat Vidhan Sabha today.
The Tejaswini Legislative Assembly was inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and is being held under Shankarbhai Chaudhary, Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. Minister for Women and Child Development, Bhanuben Babariya, is present as a special guest in this programme.
In this Tejaswini Assembly, various issues such as childbirth, education, health, nutrition, safety, security, and leadership development are being discussed.
Every year across the country, January 24th is celebrated as National Girl Child Day. To make this day more special for girls, the Women and Child Development Department and Ganesh Vasudev Mavlankar Parliamentary Studies and Training Bureau, Gujarat Legislative Assembly, have organised this ‘Tejaswini Vidhan Sabha.’ DeshGujarat
