Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has installed a 2,000 kw capacity solar system to save electricity bill to run its water treatment plants at Kotarpur, Jaspur and Raska. The installation work is over and solar system’s interconnection work is going to be started. It wil create five to six hours halt in power supply. The system once functional will save around 16 lakh to 20 lakh units power.

Water distribution from Jaspur will affect on 7 Feb, Kotarpur on 8 Feb, Raska on 9 Feb and Kotarpur on 13 Feb.

Jaspur will affect north west and south west zones, Kotarpur west , east, north and south zones, Raska south zone while Kotarpur on 13 Feb will affect west, central, north and east zones water supply. DeshGujarat
