Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is planning to announce the results of Class 10th and 12th Board exams a month ahead of the regular timeframe which is mid or end of April.

A source told a newspaper that the board plans to accelerate the assessment process by initiating the evaluation of answer sheets the day after exams conclude. Also, to facilitate the prompt release of results, the board plans to deploy around 500 data entry operators, a significant increase from the usual 60.

The data entry process, which used to take approximately 45 days, is expected to be finished in 10-15 days this year. This will allow the board to announce results a month earlier than usual. In contrast to the traditional method where data entry began after completing answer sheet assessments, this time, data entry will happen concurrently with the assessment process.

The final exams for Classes 10 and 12 are scheduled to take place from March 11 to 26.DeshGujarat
