Agadiya Pedhis across Gujarat to suspend cash transaction from April 8

Ahmedabad: Due to ongoing raids and checking by the teams of the Election Commission of India (ECI) in connection with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Angadiyas who transfer parcels and couriers including that containing silver, gold and cash will suspend the cash transfer from April 8. Gujarat is going for polling on May 7th. Gujarat has over 2200 Angadiya pedhi. As per an estimate they transfer 100s of crores of Rupees in cash from one place to other place. Recently such Angadiya pedhis have sent messages to customers informing them that the cash transaction services will be suspended from Monday, April 8. DeshGujarat
