Large quantity of substandard oil being sold under branded label seized in Valsad

Valsad: The city police today seized a large quantity of duplicate edible oil being sold under branded labels from shops in Sak Bhaji Market.
During a raid operation, over 100 cans of substandard quality oil were confiscated from shops including Poonam Tea Depot, Lakshmi General Store, Ghanshyam General Store, Geeta Provisional Store, and Madhav Store.
It is learnt that 6 cans were seized from Poonam Tea Depot, along with Tirupati Oil stickers, and 50 cans were confiscated from the firm’s warehouse, where substandard oil was being falsely labeled as branded oil. The police team was accompanied by representatives from the branded oil company. DeshGujarat
