April 15, 2024
Gandhinagar: Gujarat BJP Chief CR Patil and the Chief Minister spoke with the media about the Sankalp Patra of BJP, which was launched on Sunday by PM Modi. Congress had broken trust in its word manifesto, but we have fulfilled all the promises made in our manifesto since 1980,” said Patil in response to media queries.
Talking to the press Patil said, “Yesterday, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Sankalp Patra (Manifesto) for the Lok Sabha election 2024 was released in the presence of PM Modi, BJP National President J.P. Nadda, and Sankalp Patra Committee Convener Rajnath Singh. In the Sankalp Patra, 24 matters of importance have been included. The first guarantee that PM Modi has given to the country is about safeguarding the nation in the coming days.”
“For the poor people, the guarantee of free ration for the next 5 years has been given. Senior citizens above 70 years of age will be covered under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana as per the guarantee in the Sankalp Patra. We are resolved to take the nation forward by involving youth, women, farmers, and the poor in the development of the country,” he added.
Patil further said, “To make the youth self-sufficient, the PM has given a guarantee to the youth that they will get interest-free loans from banks (Swanidhi) so that instead of seeking jobs, they can stand on their own feet and utilize their talent to create something new. The Congress party did not introduce any scheme for the farmers. With the belief that the Annadata should not be helpless, PM Modi implemented a scheme under which over 11 crore farmers receive Rs. 6000 annually directly in their bank accounts, which will continue to be deposited. PM also assured of that.”
“While Congress had given a slogan ‘garibi hatao’ (remove poverty) during Indira ji’s time, which did not happen, during the 10 years of Modi government, 25 crore people were lifted out of poverty, as reported by the United Nations. We aim to lift more people out of poverty in the future,” Patil told the media.
He also stated that a total of 4 crore pucca (solid) homes have been provided, and we will construct 3 crore more houses in five years. It is guaranteed in our manifesto that no one in the country will be homeless. DeshGujarat
