We oppose Rupala not BJP: Kshatriya agitation leader Pragyaba
May 06, 2024
Rajkot: Amid the ongoing protest of the Kshatriya community against the statement of Union Minister and BJP candidate from the Lok Sabha seat, Parshottam Rupala, female Kshatriya leader Pragyaba Jhala has said that her opposition is only with Rupala and not the BJP.
Pragyaba stated today to the media, “I cannot understand why the coordination committee is opposing all BJP candidates when our target was only Rupala. Rupala is still where he was; I just don’t understand why there is a reason to oppose the BJP everywhere. When the coordination committee is saying that Rupala spoke against the respect of women, then at the same time, for speaking about kings and kingdoms, the committee should have demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi. Umesh Makwana had also made remarks; why were they not asked to apologize? Why is the coordination committee supporting them and why are they not asking for their apology?”
“The movement started to oust Rupala, which was unsuccessful, and then they made it against the whole BJP, which I cannot understand. We don’t want Rupala, even if the voting is done; we will not let Rupala. However, instead of working toward that, they are working against the whole BJP and have not asked for an apology from Rahul Gandhi and Umesh Makwana; I cannot understand the reason for this? So it can be my suspicion, but I think that whether this whole agitation is Congress-sponsored,” she added.
“We were never with the coordination committee, and we will never be in it; we have been carrying the movement on our own way. We also announced Jauhar; we only opposed Rupala,” Pragyaba further said. DeshGujarat
