Karnavati Knights wins the Gujarat Super League with victory over Vadodara Warriors

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Super League, the first franchise-based sporting tournament in the state, came to a close on Sunday with Karnavati Knights registering an impressive win over Vadodara Warriors.

Karnavati Knights got the better of Vadodara Warriors with a scoreline of 1-1 in the final match played at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad on Sunday evening which led to the penalty round where the teams scored 5-4 respectively leading to the win of Karnavati Knights.

Mizoram Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar was the Guest of the Day at the exciting final match of the Gujarat Super League Day.

Featuring six teams, the Gujarat Super League was organised by the Gujarat State Football Association. The other teams in the league included Ahmedabad Avengers, Saurashtra Spartans, Gandhinagar Giants, and the Surat Strikers.
