ACB Gujarat nabs Talati Mantri in bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has nabbed another Talati Mantri in a bribe case. The accused Vishal Kantibhai Solanki nabbed today in a bribe case is Talati Mantri of Dabhan gram panchayat office in Nadiad taluka of Kheda district. Class-3 staffer, Solanki demanded Rs. 4000 from a complainant for issuing a marriage registration certificate. After some bargaining the amount of the bribe to be given was fixed at Rs. 2000. As the complainant was unwilling to pay a bribe, he contacted ACB, following which a trap was arranged, and the accused Talati Mantri was held after he received bribe at Gram Panchayat office.
