Ahmedabad: The Meteorological Department has announced yellow and orange alerts for the districts in the state due to the heat wave.
According to a press release from Ahmedabad’s Resident Addi. Collector, the district has been included in the orange alert. Additionally, a heat wave warning has been issued, leading to a change in the timings of Jan Seva Kendras (public service centers) for the next week. They will now open an hour earlier in the morning.
The new timings for public service centers have been set from 9:30 am to 6:10 pm for the next week, instead of the current 10:30 am to 6:10 pm.
The concerned public and officials/employees are advised to take note of this change and inform the working employees.
