Yadav mentioned that the weather will stay dry for the next seven days, with a warning of “strong surface winds” affecting most parts of the state over the next two days.
“Strong surface winds of about 30 km per hour will be experienced in most parts of Gujarat during the next two days. A dust storm warning has been issued for Kutch, Patan, Banaskantha, Surendranagar, and parts of the Saurashtra region for the next two days,” Yadav added.
Amidst extreme heat, the maximum daytime temperatures in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar were recorded at 42.8 and 42.5 degrees Celsius, respectively, on Thursday. DeshGujarat
