Nadiad- Sarangpur bus starts journey daily with National Anthem for last 6 years

Nadiad: A special bus from Nadiad ST Depot departs daily at 7 am to Sarangpur, marking a unique tradition of beginning the journey with the national anthem. This tradition has continued for six years.

Known as the Triveni Yatra Dham darshan bus, this bus in its route covers Arnej, Ganeshpura, and Sarangpur for pilgrims visiting the Kashtabhanjan Dev Hanumanji temple.

Since its inception on February 7, 2018, this bus service has gained popularity for its unique practices and amenities. Passengers travelling on Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday are offered free buttermilk or sherbet to combat the summer heat. Additionally, the bus ensures cleanliness, cold water, chocolates for children, mobile charging facilities, magazines, medical kits, and fire safety measures.

The route includes stops at Kheda, Rahu, Dholka, and Arnej, with a 10-minute halt at Boot Bhavani Mataji Arnej for darshan. The bus also stops for darshan at Ganeshpura and then leaves for Sarangpur. Passengers enjoy Ganesh aarti, Hanumanji aarti, Swaminarayan Bhagwan aarti, Hanuman Chalisa, and Ramdhun, during the journey along with Prasad. The bus halts for two hours at Sarangpur for devotees to visit the temple. Then the bus departs for Nadiad at 1 pm and reaches back around 5:30 pm. 

Driver Ashokbhai ensures punctuality and safety and also offers passengers religious and government literature for reading. The driver and conductor of this route have received praise from the department and voluntary organisations for the bus’s facilities. DeshGujarat
