Sabarmati: A new entertainment hub is going to be built on the eastern side of the Sabarmati riverfront, featuring a 70-meter Ferris wheel. The wheel, inspired by the London Eye, will be uniquely designed to withstand Ahmedabad’s intense heat.

On Friday, the amusement company Imagica presented its Rs 150 crore plan to the project committee of the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (SRFDCL).

The hub will also feature a revolving restaurant and a variety of attractions for all age groups, such as trampoline parks, simulation rides, and a game arcade. The American company Dave & Buster’s will collaborate with Imagica to create an immersive gaming zone within the hub. Additionally, a six-story multi-level parking complex will be constructed for the Entertainment Hub.

The project is expected to be completed within 18 months, with Imagica securing a 30-year lease on the 11-acre plot. According to the agreement, the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd will receive a revenue share of 12.2%. DeshGujarat
