Three held for theft of human hair in Junagadh

Junagadh: The Mendarda police arrested three people, including the main accused Asif Dal (40), on Thursday for stealing 36 kg of human hair belonging to 27-year-old Balu Vaghela. The police have also recovered the stolen hair and a motorcycle.
According to the complaint, Balu was returning from his cousin’s house in Likhala village of Savarkundla taluka when they were intercepted by three men driving an Eeco van. The men threatened them with a knife, stole the bag containing human hair, and took their motorcycle before fleeing the scene. The complaint was registered under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for robbery against the three unknown individuals.
The police arrested Asif along with 23-year-old Safir Solanki and 40-year-old Dinesh Solanki. During the interrogation, the accused Asif stated that Balu had fled Kodinar after taking an advance of Rs. 12 lakh from Asif’s employer and did not repay it. Balu has said that no one demanded the money. The police will investigate whether there is any complaint against Balu at Kodinar police station regarding this matter. DeshGujarat
