Ahmedabad: Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil has relieved Dharmendra Shah from both important posts Shah was holding. The state BJP has today in a press release announced Pati’s decision to relieve Shah from the post of Joint Treasurer of Gujarat BJP and also from the post of joint incharge of Ahmedabad city party organization.

Shah as an incharge of Ahmedabad city BJP had emerged as a final authority in the affairs of Amdavad Municipal Corporation(AMC). Irrespective of who is the Mayor of the city or the Municipal Commissioner, Shah was enjoying supreme power in the affairs of AMC.
