Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister has given in-principle approval for 797 works of rainwater storage and harvesting worth Rs. 144.32 crore for Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yoajna. Under this scheme, the works are taken up on a public-private partnership ration of 70:20:10 in private societies. AMC had received proposals for rainwater harvesting works from 747 societies. AMC had moved a proposal for Rs. 206.16 crore. The state government has given in-principle approval for its share of 70% of that, which comes to Rs. 144.32 crore. DeshGujarat
