PM Modi dials Gujarat CM over heavy rains in Gujarat, assures support

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a telephonic conversation with Gujarat Chief Minister today to discuss the ongoing heavy rain situation in the state. During the call, PM Modi was briefed in detail on the relief and rescue operations underway.
The Gujarat CM in a X post said, “Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a telephonic conversation with me about the heavy rain situation in Gujarat and received detailed information about the relief and rescue operations. He provided guidance on protecting the lives and livestock of citizens and assured Gujarat of all necessary support and assistance from the Central Government.”
“The Prime Minister is constantly monitoring the situation and is deeply concerned about Gujarat. He has a deep affection in his heart for the people of Gujarat.
