Ahmedabad: The Standing Committee of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation met on Thursday to discuss several issues, one of which was the demolition of the Hatkeshwar bridge. After the meeting, AMC Standing Committee Chairman Devang Dani informed the media that a contractor has finally placed a bid for the demolition and reconstruction of the Hatkeshwar flyover after three failed attempts.
