PDEU student dies after collapsing during Race

Ahmedabad: A first-year computer science student at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), Ayush Shabnani, collapsed and died during a racing event on campus on Monday.
Shabnani, hailing from Ahmedabad, collapsed near the finish line and was subsequently taken to a hospital in Gandhinagar for treatment. He was pronounced dead upon arrival, with cardiac arrest suspected as the cause. His family members reported that he had no known medical conditions and had participated in sports events previously, a senior PDEU official stated.
Officials mentioned that the parents have not filed a police report regarding the death and have declined to have a postmortem conducted. As a result, no case or further investigation is being pursued. DeshGujarat
